What will my first appointment be like?

Typically, I have patients bring to the visit all current medications and supplements, as well as any recent relevant medical records, such as lab tests. You fill out the intake form when you arrive. Then we begin the visit, which usually lasts one to two hours. During the first half of the visit, I mostly listen, and we do a comprehensive review of current symptoms, history, and family history. In the second half of the visit, I discuss dietary, lifestyle, nutritional, botanical, homeopathic, and/or other suggestions. You receive a packet of information with several handouts to review later, as well as a written treatment plan created just for you.
